Installation of 2 pool covers on the beautiful island of Mallorca
We worked closely together with the architect on this project to integrate the covers into the newly built swimming pools. The houses are built with the idyllic rural landscape in mind. The covers and the material of the slats were carefully chosen to complete the finishing of the swimming pools. The company chose to work with Dekobo due to the high standard of quality of materials we use for our products.
1. Pool cover with a protective box
For the first cover they opted to install our Amsterdam model with a protective box at the bottom of the pool. The box can be tiled with the same tiles as the swimming pool, making it an aesthetic whole. As you can see on the pictures below they decided to tile the box with the same tiles as the swimming pool. You can either sit or stand on the box. All the parts are made of stainless steel type 316L, which has the highest resistance against salt and chloride.
2. Pool cover built into a niche
For the second cover they opted to install our Amsterdam model in a niche at the bottom of the pool. The lid of the niche, made of stainless steel and PVC panels, is on the same level as the floor of the pool. It can also be covered with the same tiles as the pool, leaving the cover completely hidden and integrated into the pool.
Extend your swimming pool season
Our polycarbonate slats were one of the many reasons they decided to purchase our covers, the efficiency of our polycarbonate slats to extend the swimming pool season and have an aesthetic that the end customers liked a lot. The solar slats easily heat up the water of the pool by 5-7 degrees celsius.
