Exclusive project of 7 covers in the Resort of la Zagaleta.
Dekobo was contacted in 2017 to cover a swimming pool of 20×5,5 meters and a jacuzzi of 5×8 meters for a private property in la Zagaleta. La Zagaleta is considered to be one of Europe’s most exclusive Resorts and is surrounded by the lush green that covers the private golf courses of the Country Club and has stunning views of the blue Mediterranean.
We have worked closely with the architect and the construction company to realise this project. It required perfect communication between Dekobo and the parties involved to plan everything in advance. The covers are installed in a separate niche below the terrace next to the pool. The tubes for the wires had to be placed before finishing the pool to be able to connect the motor of each of the seven covers with the control boxes in the technical room.

The jacuzzi has a build in tv screen that folds into 3 parts and slides out of the bottom. In one part of the niche they installed tubes to have a waterfall coming out of the terrace into the pool. For safety and usability reasons the covers have to work seamlessly together with those systems.
When the cover closes, the seats installed in the jacuzzi are automatically lowered and the waterfall stops working. The covers are controlled by domotica and also have a wind sensor installed to retract when there are high winds detected. The covers can be controlled at once or each one individually to accommodate the client’s needs.

The niche of the Bruselas model is normally covered with ecological wood which requires no maintenance and is available in many colors. In this case the cliente preferred to have niche covered with the same tiles as the rest of the terrace. In Dekobo we manufacture based on the clients requirements and we can adapt our product to any type of request from the client.
We are very proud of our team for finalizing this project and we are one of the few companies in Spain that are able to cover a pool of this size.
